Menus and themes
Our six-week rotating menu features some of the favourite dishes of Finnish schoolchildren, such as meat and macaroni bake, meatballs, spinach pancakes and barley porridge. Newer favourites include tortillas and soya bolognese-tomato pizza.
Seasonal holidays, such as Christmas, Easter and May Day, provide variety to everyday meals. In addition to this, two to four times a year the canteens offer themed dishes based on various culinary themes, like locally grown, organic or regional food.

Menus for elementary, high school and other educational institutes are available at hel.fi/ruokalistat. The menus can also be viewed on mobile devices.
To find the menus you want, choose the category and the restaurant. The menu can be printed directly from the browser. The Info button next to each dish provides relevant nutrition content and product information. Special diets should be confirmed with the kitchen in question.
Menus are also available in Swedish and English.
