Menus and themes

Our six-week rotating menu features some of the favourite dishes of Finnish schoolchildren, such as meat and macaroni bake, meatballs, spinach pancakes and barley porridge. Newer favourites include tortillas and soya bolognese-tomato pizza.

Seasonal holidays, such as Christmas, Easter and May Day, provide variety to everyday meals. In addition to this, two to four times a year the canteens offer themed dishes based on various culinary themes, like locally grown, organic or regional food.


Menus for elementary, high school and other educational institutes are available at our website Menus for schools and day care centres. Special diets should be confirmed with the kitchen in question. Menus are also available in English.
