Currently in the piloting stage, Varaamo is the City of Helsinki’s service that can currently be used for making reservations for the facilities, workstations and equipment of the Helsinki City Library, the City of Helsinki Youth Department and the Department of Early Education and Care.

Information on standing and one-time reservations for the sports facilities maintained by Sports Services
Sports Services has approximately 70 sports halls and gyms as well as approximately 90 outdoor sports fields. Seasonal reservations for the facilities and fields are made separately for the winter and summer seasons. Sport services manages the sport facilities of 134 schools for use in the evenings and outside school hours. Reservations for the sports facilities maintained by Sports Services and the sport facilities of schools are done via E-services.
Periods for applying and instructions
The saunas can accommodate 4-50 people, depending on the location. Bookable and public sauna hours are available in many breathtakingly beautiful island areas, such as Kaunissaari, Uunisaari and Pihlajasaari. Saunas like this are also available on the mainland, in unique locations and along excellent public transport connections. In the city, saunas can be found at Rastila Camping site and at hiking lodges in Paloheinä and Maunula. In addition to a sauna, lounge with fireplace or other separate space can be booked at certain locations, such as Luukki, Pirttimäki and Salmi.

Cottages are available for booking, from a minimum period of one day to a maximum period of one week, in the Kaunissaari and Elisaari islands and at the Rastila Camping site.

Nearly every Helsinki City Library has space, which can be rented for many different purposes, such as meetings, activities, exhibitions, team work and lectures.
The meetings rooms are specifically designed for holding meetings and gatherings. Multi-purpose facilities and team work spaces are suitable for team work, meetings, gatherings, and other such purposes. At the Pasila Library, there is also a lecture hall for 90 people available for rent.
These facilities are equipped with the necessary equipment for holding a presentation, for example.
In most cases, the cost of renting the facilities is EUR 30 per hour. The cost of renting the auditorium and computer room at the Pasila Library is EUR 45 per hour.

The General Cultural Services unit rents out facilities in cultural centres around Helsinki for many purposes. The facilities include performance halls, auditoriums, meeting rooms, recreational facilities and galleries and lobby spaces suitable for exhibitions.
There are also studio and living spaces rented out for artists.
