The Crown Bridges project will be implemented as a combination of two types of contract: the two bridges connecting Kalasatama and Kruunuvuorenranta and the construction of earth structures at Helsinki Zoo on the Korkeasaari island will constitute a lump-sum contract, and other construction work will be carried out in compliance with the alliance model.
The competitive tendering process for the lump-sum contract in takes place autumn 2020 - spring 2021.
All competitive tendering processes will be announced via the Hilma system in Finland and EU's public procurement system, Ted.

The City of Helsinki is planning to procure the bridge contract of the Kruunusillat (Crown Bridges) project.
The Kruunusillat project is divided into two sub-projects: the bridge contract and the alliance. In the bridge contract, the Kruunuvuorensilta and Finkensilta bridges will be constructed based on the client’s plans. The contract will also involve earthworks and dredging in Korkeasaari. The ongoing alliance will construct the other structures in the project.
According to the client’s preliminary schedule, the tendering for the bridge contract is estimated to start in autumn 2020, while the construction is estimated to start in autumn 2021. The schedules are subject to change.

The distributed materials are not fully approved and they shall not bind the client; they are only intended for informing those interested in the project. The materials for the tender phase shall be published in time in accordance with the tender phase.
The language used in the tender and contract phases shall be Finnish.
