Here, you will learn about the current operational themes of Helsinki Urban Environment. Visitor groups from cities, municipalities, organisations and universities are offered presentations on four themes:

  1. Climate-smart Helsinki
  2. A city of sustainable transport
  3. Growing Helsinki
  4. A city by the Sea

Information on visits

We offer a one-hour presentation on the selected theme for each group. In addition, you can select one guided tour of the site you are visiting.

Groups of 5–30 are offered free-of-charge visits every weekday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The presentations are primarily held in Helsinki city centre.

The groups organise their own transportation and meals. We recommend using the city’s public transport.

Please note that we do not send invitations via letter or book hotel rooms. The presentations are held in Finnish or English. If necessary, the group is responsible for organising an interpreting service.

We aim to organise the visit according to your wishes, but a reservation does not automatically mean that we will be able to receive your group. We receive visitor groups when allowed by the experts’ schedules.
