Summer employees of the City of Helsinki may apply for job-related housing for the duration of their summer job. Tenant selection for company housing for summer employees follows the principles of tenant selection confirmed by the City Board.
The housing applications are submitted via the list of apartments. Please specify the following information as clearly as possible in your application:
- Your job title and the unit in which you will be working.
- Select “summer job” as the type of employment relationship.
- Enter the start and end date of the employment in the “Further information” field.
If you are looking for a shared apartment with other people, you can submit a joint application, in which you specify the names, personal identity codes and job information of all the applicants. A company-owned apartment can have only one main tenant and one or more sub-tenants.
Please note that the lease agreement may begin before your employment relationship begins, but no earlier than six weeks before the start of the employment relationship.
