The resident houses are closed until 16.5.2021

The resident houses are closed until 16.5.2021 because of the coronavirus situation. Evening and weekend bookings are also unavailable.

Services provided with an appointment booking, e.g. digital support, are open according to separate arrangements depending on the house.

At some resident houses face masks and surplus food will still be handed out at the door.

Follow the notifications of the resident houses in Facebook and Instagram to find out more about services provided with appointment booking. A notification about the appointment booking is also put up on the doors of the resident houses.

We use face masks in the resident houses.

Community centres act as living rooms and meeting facilities of the residents. The main objective is to bring well-being and prevent loneliness of the residents. You may participate in various groups and happenings.

There are places for reading the newspaper or browsing the internet. They also act as teaching facilities, resident cafe and a general information centre for the area. Community centres are suitable as meeting and club premises for different groups. Social Instructors offer guidance in social services.

There are computers and a multi-function printer in every resident house in Helsinki to enable usage of e-services. You can also get digital help to use your own device. In Resident House Mylläri the digital support is provided by the media library.

The services are free of charge for the customers. Remuneration may only be charged for renting the facilities, the materials and other costs related to providing the services.

It is also possible to hold small parties at the community centres as they are equipped with coffee machines, kettles and a microwave oven, and some facilities also have a refrigerator. Other amenities vary from place to place.
