Emergency services social work

Social work emergency services responds to the social work needs, which have occurred during the hospital treatment, of patients at Haartman and Malmi Emergency Hospitals. Social workers guide and counsel the patients and their close relatives and attempt to ensure the necessary further services. Solutions to the situation that makes the life of the patient difficult are sought in cooperation with the other worker groups at the hospital through a multidisciplinary team, utilising the competence of various authorities and partners.
