Harbours

Passengers are served by the port of Helsinki at six terminals. There are connections to Stockholm, Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Travemünde and Rostock.

Ferries going to Sweden depart from the Olympia Terminal and the Katajanokka Terminal, whereas departures to Estonia leave from the West Terminal 1 and 2, Makasiini Terminal and Katajanokka Terminal. Ships departing to St. Petersburg leave from the West Terminal 1, and departures to Germany leave from the Hansa Terminal at the Vuosaari harbour.

International cruise ships

Nearly 300 cruise ships and up to 440,000 cruise passengers visit Helsinki yearly, adding life and colour to the city life. International cruise ships dock at Hernesaari, South Harbour, Katajanokka and West Harbour.
