Easement process

An easement can be established for a plot in the area of another plot. An easement can be a permanent right for passage through the other plot, for keeping a vehicle on the other plot, for conducting water or sewer pipes or cables through the other plot, or for some other purpose.

The establishment of an easement usually requires a written agreement from the plot owners. The agreement must include a map signed by the parties showing the exact location of the area covered by the easement. For specific reasons, an easement can be temporary.

An easement for a plot is established either in an easement process or in connection of a plot parcelling process. The real estate owner can apply for an easement process, which takes 1–4 months.

An easement process and the handling of the easement are charged according to valid real estate process rates.
