Basic library services are available to everybody and free of charge. You can get a personal library card for the use of the services if you are a Finnish resident.

HelMet.fi is the joint website and web library of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area libraries, that is, the city libraries of Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen. As a HelMet customer, you can search for materials, make reservations, renew loans and borrow electronic materials.
