Animal protection

The Urban Environment Division's Environment services' supervising veterinarian and the police supervise compliance with the Animal Protection Act in Helsinki. The authorities are assisted by two volunteer animal protection monitors from the Finnish Animal Protection Association and the Helsinki Animal Protection Association.
