Infant family guidance

The city’s public playgrounds and family houses organise guidance for Helsinki-resident families with a first-born infant. The infant family guidance is follow-up service for the maternity and child health clinic services.

The infant family guidance consists of three themes with the same contents at all locations.The themes are:

• Being with the baby - what is early interaction?
• Coping in everyday life, being a parent
• The baby’s daytime and sleep patterns

The guidance is free of charge. You must register separately for each theme. You can select an individual theme you are interested in or all of them, and you can attend them in the order you prefer at any available location.
Register by sending the playground an email or text message. Places are limited.

Programme for spring 2023 will be published on the week commencing on 23 January.
