Early childhood education fees and e-invoicing

You can opt to pay your early childhood education fees as online invoices, or e-invoices, which are delivered to your online banking service. E-invoices can currently be used in the online services of Nordea, Osuuspankki and Danske Bank.

E-invoices are an excellent alternative for all of those who use online banking services regularly. E-invoicing is convenient: you do not need to key in account or reference numbers, as they are provided on the invoice. This eliminates the possibility of mistakes when entering the invoice details manually.

The e-invoices are displayed in the online banking services in the conventional invoice format, meaning that the outlook, content and payment period match the ones on the printed invoice. All you need to do is accept the payment, and the invoiced amount is charged from your bank account on the due date.

There are differences between banks in how you can transfer to the e-invoice service. Further information and guidance should be available on your bank's website or customer service.

How to start using e-invoices

Switching over to e-invoices is easy: all you need to do is make an e-invoicing agreement via your online banking service. Select the City of Helsinki – Financial Management Services as the sender of the invoice in your online banking service and enter the identity number of the recipient (ddmmyy-xxxX) as the invoice identifier. The Financial Management Services’ customer register will confirm your e-invoicing agreement within a few days. After this, your invoices will always be delivered to your online banking service.
