Investigative work among those living outdoors

Local work comprises looking for people living outdoors, establishing contact with them, making a situational assessment, helping with housing and financial matters, steering the people towards services, advocating for them in order to receive the necessary services and supporting them in their life change.

The workers receive notifications from private persons, authorities or other operators concerning people living in, for example, stairways, public premises, cars and outdoors. Work is carried out in cooperation with different operators in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
