Emergency accommodation means temporary housing for one or two nights.
Temporary housing for single people or childless couples in Helsinki for one night or over the weekend is offered as emergency accommodation by Hietaniemkatu Service Centre's emergency housing service and the emergency housing services on Inarintie and Alppikatu. You can get the service by directly contacting the service centre on Hietaniemenkatu, tel. 09 310 46628, or by visiting the centre at Hietaniemenkatu 5 B. The emergency accommodation is open 17-09. If you have reserved a place in advance, you must be at the emergency accommodation by 20.00.
Emergency accommodation for undocumented people and the mobile population in Europe
Temporary housing for undocumented people and the mobile population in Europe is offered by the emergency housing services on Inarintie.
You can get access to the emergency accommodation by visiting the Immigration unit at the Kalasatama Health and Well-being Centre, Työpajankatu 14 A (contact through the reception on the first floor). The emergency accommodation is open 17-09. If you have reserved a place in advance, you must be at the emergency accommodation by 20.00. In urgent matters in the evenings or at the weekends, you can ask for free accommodation places directly at Inarintie after 20.00.
To access the accommodation services for the mobile population in Europe, go straight to Inarintie from 17.00 onwards.
The stay is free of charge and includes breakfast.
