Primary production

A notification about the primary production place must be submitted to the Food Safety Unit. Primary production includes, for example, husbandry of production animals, honey production and fishing.

A notification does not have to be submitted for picking berries and mushrooms or for hunting.

A food operator, who transports the primary production products from the primary production place to the primary food facility, must submit a notification of the transport operations to the Food Safety Unit.
