Laboratories

Helsinki residents can have laboratory tests taken without an appointment at a Huslab at health centre and city hospital laboratories or at all other Huslab's units. Some laboratories accept appointments. Appointments should always be made for glucose tolerance, lactose tolerance and spirometry tests.

You can make an appointment at www.huslab.fi/ajanvaraus or by calling tel. 09 471 86800 Mon-Fri 7.30-15.30.

Laboratories can be busy during the first morning hours. If possible, it is recommended that customers arrive for tests after 10: 30 in the morning.

Test results are provided by the referring units.

Helsinki residents may also use Huslab laboratories in other municipals.
Huslab services are produced by HUS Helsinki University Hospital, not the City of Helsinki.

Prerequisites:

Laboratory tests require a referral by a nurse or a doctor. Appointments should always be made for glucose tolerance, lactose tolerance and spirometry tests.
