Patient Ombudsman

The City of Helsinki Department of Social Services and Health Care Patient Ombudsman

1)gives advice on matters related to the operation of the City of Helsinki Department of Social Services and Health Care.

2) gives advice on matters pertaining to the application of the Patient Act.

3) gives advice and, if necessary, assists in filing reminders and handling matters concerning patient injuries and compensation.

The Patient Ombudsman does not make decisions or express a view on medical care.

Prerequisites:

The service is only for citizens of Helsinki.
