Mediation of family issues

The purpose is to assist spouses in solving their family's issues through the methods of mediation and, in particular, to secure the child's position, if the parents decide to separate.

Mediation of family issues is necessary, if a couple is considering a separation or thinking about the situation after their separation. The mediation is intended for facilitating the family life during a crisis, regardless of whether the spouses decide to separate or not. During the mediation, special attention will be paid to the status and situation of the children in the family and to ensuring that the children can also maintain a good relationship with both their parents after a separation or divorce.

Mediation of family issues is free of charge.

Agreements concerning the child that are compiled during the mediation are confirmed by a Child Welfare Officer.

Mediation of family issues is carried out by employees appointed to the task. The customers may make an appointment with the mediator of their choice.
