Support person activities of Services for the Disabled

The support person service is intended for a disabled person who requires support for creating and maintaining social relations. A support person can also be provided in order to support independence and development.

The aim of the support person activity is e.g. to increase disabled people's chances to participate in hobbies and recreational activities.

With the support person one can e.g. go shopping, to hobbies or events. The support person can also be company for a walk or talking.

The service can be applied for via a social instructor at the social work services in your own residential area.
