Rent collection for the housing services of the intellectually disabled

An intellectually disabled resident has the same rights and obligations as any other citizen living in a rented apartment.

The resident pays the rent, as determined by the Premises Centre of the City of Helsinki, for the residential space allocated to him or her and his or her part of the shared premises intended for the residents. In addition, a basic fee and meal costs will be charged from the customer.

The Premises Centre will make the rental agreement with the customer or his or her trustee. The residents will pay their rent directly to the lessor.
