Foot therapy

Foot therapy service, which is part of outpatient care, is mainly intended for diabetics and people with rheumatoid arthritis, as severe problems with lower limbs are often connected to these diseases. Problems requiring foot therapy include ulcers, incorrect positions of toes and feet, corns and calluses, ingrown toe nails and thickened nails with fungus.

Prerequisites:

Foot therapy requires a referral from a doctor, public health nurse or diabetes nurse.

The service is for only for citizens of Helsinki.
