City Executive Office, employment grant application

An employment grant may be applied for by registered organisations, which have been operational for at least a year, and whose operations are aimed for the benefit of the people of Helsinki.

Employment grant applications must be filed by the end of the preceding year. The specific filing date is announced annually.

1. The grant decisions are made by the Director of Economic Development.
2. The applicant will be informed about the decision by mail.
3. The grant awarded is paid to the bank account of the applicant foundation.
4. A report concerning the use of the grant must be provided with next year's application. Even if a grant is not applied for the next year, a report must still be compiled. In the latter case, the report may be compiled using the message feature.

Expiration date:

Once an application has been sent in, it is valid until the decision has been made. A new application for the same purpose replaces the old application, if sent within the prescribed time limit.

More information:

A grant may be used only for the purpose it was awarded for and it cannot be awarded onwards.
