Registrar's Office

Because of the coronavirus, the Registry office serves customers by phone and e-mail, between 8.15 AM and 4 PM, for the time being. You can leave letters to the Registry office in the mailbox in the City Hall lobby.

Protected e-mail can be sent to the city registry from https://securemail.hel.fi/ to helsinki.kirjaamo@hel.fi
Online banking codes are needed for logging in to securemail.

The unit register incoming documents and e-forward them to further processing. Customer service will give information on the phase of pending issues and decisions throughout the whole process.

The Registry will also manage the bulletin board displaying the City’s public announcements at the City Hall.

N.B. It is possible to submit documents outside the office hours at the City Hall.
Open from 9.00 to 19.00 hrs on workdays and from 10.00 to 16.00 hrs on week-ends.
