Pihlajamäki modern architectural heritage trail

Pihlajamäki has Helsinki’s first modern architectural heritage trail. Pihlajamäki’s DoCoMoMo area is an internationally acknowledged example of 1960s mass housing area and town planning ideology. The architecture trail’s information signboards present Pihlajamäki’s history as well as the building types, architecture and planning history. The Neighbourhood Project has prepared the information signboards in co-operation with the Helsinki Public Works Department and City Planning Department.
