The next resident evening hosted by Mayor Juhana Vartiainen will be held on Thursday, February 16 from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. for the residents of Vuosaari at the premises of Vuosaari high school. At the event, residents, city management and partners gather to discuss topical issues together.

During the evening, the city's representatives get to hear the residents' thoughts about their own residential area, and the residents can discuss and ask about current issues directly with the Mayor of Helsinki, Juhana Vartiainen, and the Heads of Divisions. In addition, residents can request topics to be discussed in advance via the Kerro kantasi survey, a service open to everyone.

Questions can also be sent during the event through the message wall via the form found on the website of Helsinki Channel. You can ask questions even if you are participating remotely.

- The Mayor's resident evening offers the city's residents the opportunity to discuss the issues of their own residential area with the city's representatives and bring forward considerations they feel are important. You can ask your own questions at the event on the spot or remotely via Helsinki Channel's broadcast page. I warmly welcome all residents of Vuosaari to the event, invites Titta Reunanen, Team Leader in Interaction.

At the beginning of the event, the pop-up market offers an opportunity to meet representatives of the city's divisions and the staff of the Participation and Citizen Information Unit, as well as the actors of local associations starting at 6 p.m. The goal is that the residents could get information and have a low-threshold conversation with the city's experts, who are responsible for the preparation and implementation of matters.

There is a childcare service for children over 3 years old in cooperation with Pienperheyhdistys ry and Jobd'd young people.

A bilingual invitation is sent to the homes of the residents of the area about two weeks before the event.

A recording of the event will be published later on Helsinki Channel.

Time of the event: Thursday, 16 February from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. (6 p.m. the pop up market)
