Welcome to Arbis!
Welcome to Arbis!
From 11.4.2016 is Arbis at Sturenkatu 2!
Arbis in Helsinki is the adult education centre with a difference. We are large enough to offer a wide, relevant range of courses yet small enough to give personal service to our students. We do our best to live up to our reputation of being the friendly place to learn. At Arbis you will find courses at all levels, taught by well-qualified and experienced teachers. There are options of day, evening and weekend courses of varying length. Most of the courses offer opportunities to acquire skills and knowledge for the pure pleasure of doing so, but you can also attend courses to prepare for certificates. The students come from all walks of life and all ages. Arbis main building is situated in Sturenkatu 2, close to the heart of Helsinki and is well served by public transport.
You will also find courses at Stoa, the cultural centre of east Helsinki, just a few steps from Itäkeskus metro station.
Most of our teachers speak English. Sign up for a class and enjoy your creativity!
