Helsinki invites everybody to brainstorm ideas online on how to improve their home city. A brainstorming page will open at the city website on Monday, 28 May. Everybody can freely post their ideas and comment on ideas posted by others on how to develop the city’s services, how Helsinki should be built and what actions are needed for the ideas to be realized.Read more...
The Social Services and Health Care will be reorganized
The City Council has decided to merge the Social Services Department and the Health Centre. A separate department will be set up for Finnish children’s daycare. The reorganization will be done at the beginning of 2013.
