Art courses Annantalo’s art courses allow children and young people in Helsinki to immerse themselves in the goal-oriented study of arts. In class, they learn the expressive language and techniques of art in close contact with the surrounding culture – art traditions and modern times alike. Art courses are intended for children and young people under the age of 19 in Helsinki. Students may enrol for two courses per term at most. Instruction is given in small groups of 6 to 13 students, depending on the participants’ ages. Our course portfolio includes both short courses and art courses continued each year. The tuition in most of the courses is in Finnish, some in Swedish. About attending the course in English, please, contact course secretary. Enrolments are accepted for the long courses in August for the entire academic year. Enrolments are binding. Applications for course places becoming vacant and for new courses in the spring are accepted from the beginning of December on our website. You may also contact the course secretary to enquire about vacancies. Waiting lists for reserve places are kept for all courses. Course fees are payable online during registration. Payment of the course fee constitutes confirmation of admission to the course. Children and young people with special needs are welcome to participate in our art courses.
