A reverse charge mechanism for value added tax will be used in the construction sector from 1 April 2011
The City of Helsinki is an entrepreneur as intended in section 8 c subsection 1 of the Finnish value added tax act.
A reverse charge mechanism for value added tax will be applied to the Public Works Department of the City of Helsinki as buyer of construction services. The VAT number of the City of Helsinki is FI02012566.
