Helsinki has 26 health stations. The health stations are open Mon – Fri 08.00 – 16.00 and one afternoon per week until 18.00.

Health stations services include:
- Doctors and public health nurses’ consultations
- Health guidance and information for mothers and children
- Family planning and contraceptive guidance and information
Helsinki residents are allowed to take laboratory tests in any of the over 60 HUCH Hospital Area laboratories (in Finnish) that take samples in the greater Helsinki area without an appointment. If you want to make an appointment for laboratory tests, you can make it with Laakso (in Finnish) or Malmi (in Finnish) hospital laboratory.
