Inhabitants of Helsinki who fall ill and require urgent medical care should first seek treatment from their own health station. Health stations are open from Monday to Friday between 8 -16.
If your local health station is closed and your condition or illness requires urgent medical treatment, you should go to the Emergency Health Centre.

Starting from 1 April 2010, residents in the Helsinki metropolitan area requiring urgent medical examination or treatment outside office hours may also seek medical services at the Emergency Health Centres in the neighbouring cities.
