The social ombudsmen advise clients in matters of rights and status and for example monitor client rights in accordance with the Social Welfare Client Act of 2001.
The tasks of the social ombudsmen include - beside general information and guidance of social services and benefits – versatile promotion of the client’s rights. For example, they assist the client in drawing up a complaint in case the client is unhappy with the service or treatment he or she has been given.
