Contribute ideas for activities
Play a role in planning activities and putting them into practice, then you will be able to have an input into what activities are on offer. The Youth Department offers numerous channels for influence through which you can help shape activities that suit you. You can, for example, attend house meetings at which matters concerning the youth centre are decided on. Ask your own youth centre for more information about house meetings and house committees.

Training young people as producers
We encourage young people to take part in also regional productions and events. Our training programme for young producers gives them the ability to take part in planning events and carrying them out in practice.

 
Initiatives about skateboard rinks
Young people have the opportunity to present initiatives about the maintenance or location of skateboard rinks. You can send your suggestion to the registry at this address helsinki.kirjaamo(at)hel.fi.

You can have an input into the way things are run at the Youth Department by contacting one or other of the regional youth work units, the Youth Department or the Youth Committee. You can likewise contact any other office within the city administration concerning their work.

Your message will be received by the registry. The registry will also tell you who is handling the matter in question.
