The Youth Department helps you when your life isn't going as planned or when you need advice and guidance on matters related to your future. Don't hesitate to ask for help and support even if you need it just a little bit!

Kompassi 
Kompassi is at the service of 13-25-year-old Helsinki residents. The Kompassi youth workers provide information and advice in relation to such matters as housing, working life, international affairs (e.g. voluntary work abroad) and studying. Information about various sub-sectors of life has been brought together at Kompassi.

Pulmakulma
Pulmakulma is an online Question and Answer service where you can anonymously ask questions about anything starting from human relationships and answer the questions asked by other people. www.nuoret.info.


Girls’ Centre
The Girls’ Centre is a boy-free area where all girls and young women between 10 and 28 years of age are welcome to spend their time. The centre also offers interactive girl clubs.

The sex advice service Pop In is located in the Girls’ Centre and can be visited without making an appointment in advance between 14.00 and 20.00 on Mondays and 16.00 and 18.00 on Thursdays. The service operates in strict confidentiality.

Tapulikaupunki Youth Centre – Youth Info
The info point in the Tapulikaupunki Youth Centre is at the service of 13-25-year-olds and can provide them with the answers to many questions. The things that you can ask about include studying, working life and housing.

The Tapulikaupunki Youth Centre is open Monday and Wednesday 17.30 - 21, Thursday 13.30 - 16.30.

Skarppi

Skarppi is a peer mentoring project on alcohol related issues. In Finland the young people start drinking and experiments with alcohol younger than ever. Also the youth's heavy drinking is quite a common problem all over the Finland. At Youth Open Forum in 2003 the young made an initiative of peer mentoring project on substance abuse prevention field.
