Do you feel like dancing? No problem! You can dance around Helsinki under the guidance of top experts. The Youth Department organises dance classes from well-established disciplines to trendier new styles, from hip-hop to salsa mix and from breakdance to bollywood.

Kontula – Youth Activities Centre
One of the biggest providers of dance classes of the Youth Department is the Kontula Youth Activities Centre. The centre is known for its all-round dance classes and instructors, who are all Finnish champions in their disciplines. You can choose your favourite from breakdance, hip-hop, poppin' and MTV Dance classes, for example. Dance lessons are organised for all levels, from beginners to advanced groups, from Monday to Saturday.

Pasila Youth Centre

Another place where you can find dance lessions is the youth centre in Pasila, which gather weekly over 200 dance enthusiasts. The genres are disco, hip hop and show. Read more from here.

Weekly dance groups are organised at the Koskela Youth Centre. The disciplines to which these groups are dedicated include disco mix, jazz techniques, street / hip hop and show dance.

DanceAction - a yearly dance event
