Helsinki Provides a wide range of possibilities to be active on your leisure time. There are outdoor activities, hobbies, non-formal education and a lot of other options for young people between 13 and 25 years old. There are more than hundred different hobbies and activities run by the different units of the Youth Department, which can help you to spend your leisure time in many interesting and thrilling ways.

The youth services are located all over Helsinki and there you can turn to trained youth workers on any matter. The equipment of the youth centres varies from rehearsal rooms for bands, rooms for fitness training or even sauna to cafés and access to the internet.

You can discover and explore hobbies like break dance, skateboarding or participate on art courses, and of course you also have the possibility to hang out or simply meet other youngsters and have a chat with them!
