The Cultural Office is actively involved in several international networks. There is regular cooperation with missions and embassies located in Helsinki. Through sustained network cooperation the Cultural Office is also involved in several EU-funded cultural projects. Cooperation is also undertaken with the capital cities of the Nordic region.

ASSITEJ
(www.assitej.org) International network of theatre for children and young people. ASSITEJ links thousands of theatres, organizations and individuals through national centres in more than 70 countries.
EUnetArt
(www.eunetart.org) Multi-disciplinary cultural network of over 100 organisations in approximately 28 countries. EUnetART stimulates exchange, connection and collaboration among art professionals - bringing the arts alive for children and young people in Europe.
Eurocities / Culture Committee Network

European Network Against Racism (ENAR)
(www.enar-eu.org) A network of European NGOs working to combat racism in all the EU member states.
European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC) (www.encc.eu) An International network of arts and cultural centres.
Informal European Theatre Meeting (IETM)
(www.ietm.org) A membership organisation that aims to stimulate the quality, development and contexts of contemporary performing arts in a global environment.
International Society fo Education through Art (InSEA) (www.insea.org) A worldwide organisation of arts educators.
