You can also submit the appeal to the Public Works Department Customer Service in person, by post, email or fax. The reference number must be included on the form. It is indicated on the payment order.
Submit your bank account number
For the purpose of refunding erroneously issued parking fines, please submit your bank account number to speed up the handling of the matter.
Complaints and the Comet payment device
If you feel you have been unfairly issued with a parking fine while using the Comet payment device, you will need to connect your Comet device to a computer connected to the Internet using a USB cable. This way the person handling your complaint will be able to check the data on your Comet to establish whether it was being used at the applicable time.
You will also need to submit your Comet serial number; the number is engraved on the front cover.
If you do not have access to a computer, you can also bring your Comet to the Public Works Department’s Customer Service or to Laatukilpi’s Comet sales outlet.
