Regional accessibility plans set out by town area which routes and areas are to be improved and who will do the work. Plans are made in the first instance for locations where the need for accessibility is greatest. Most urgent areas are those where the elderly predominate, those hosting the activities of a large amount of people, and those with plentiful services for the elderly and disabled.
The plans come into being in cooperation with local associations for residents, the elderly and disabled, local parishes, shops and businesses, local property owners and the town offices active in the region.
