Helsinki has a total of 95 km of tram track. In addition there are 14 km of depot and shunting tracks plus seven km for backup connections. The track is grooved and the gauge in Helsinki is 1,000 mm.
There are 271 tram stops, 266 of which are raised and 218 of which are covered. Covered stops are owned by outdoor advertising company JCDecaux.
