Moving

According to Finnish legislation, all people must submit a notification of change of address if they move permanently to a new home or if their temporary stay at another address is longer than three months. The notification can be made one month in advance and must be made within a month of the move.

The notification can be made online, by phone at 0200 71000, or in person by filling in a form at a post office or the local register office.
