The Helsinki trams and metro have switched to Finnish hydropower as their electricity source in an effort to increase the use and awareness of renewable, low-emission energy sources in public transport. The Social Services and Health Care will be reorganized
The City Council has decided to merge the Social Services Department and the Health Centre. A separate department will be set up for Finnish children’s daycare. The reorganization will be done at the beginning of 2013.
