City Board’s City Group Division

The Division’s mission is to monitor the operations of the City Group and ascertain that the Group’s affiliated companies and foundations are operating according to the objectives set by the Board.  The Group comprises more than one hundred affiliated companies and foundations.

The ordinance of the City Board defines the mandate of the Group Division and controls its activities.

The Group Division convenes on Mondays about twenty times per year.
The agendas and decision releases of these meetings are available in Finnish only.

The City Board’s City Group Division consists of seven Council-elected members and its term is two years.

The seats for the City Group Division are currently divided among the following parties:

• National Coalition Party - 3 seats
• Social Democratic Party - 2 seats
• Greens of Finland - 2 seats
• Left alliance - 1 seat
• True Finns - 1 seat
