Health care services in Helsinki at Ascension Day
24 h Telephone Health Service, tel. (09) 10023, provides information about Helsinki’s health services and treatment instructions 24 hours a day at the cost of a normal phone call. In the event of a severe and life-threatening illness or accident situation at any time of the day, call 112 for help. Health stations are open on Wednesday 16 May 08:00–16:00 and closed for Ascension Day 17 May. Emergency dental care is provided at Ascension Day 17 May 09:00–21:00 at Haartman Hospital. Read more...

Call the (09) 10023 Telephone Health Service every time you need medical advice or information on health care services. (09) 10023 provides answers 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The telephone service staff consists of experienced nurses and public health nurses, and the service is available also in English.

The numerot.hel.fi site gives the numbers of the telephone exchanges of the City of Helsinki departments, public corporations and main divisions. It also shows the telephone numbers of City employees as prescribed by each department.
