Schools and vocational institutions will hold their end of the year celebrations on Saturday 2 June. Helsinki upper secondary school for adults will already have ceremonies on Friday evening.
This spring in schools run by the City of Helsinki, some 1,620 students will graduate from upper secondary schools and some 1,290 leave a vocational institution with a basic vocational qualification. In addition to the educational institutions of the City, a number of private upper secondary schools and vocational institutions operate in Helsinki.
The new term in munincipal comprehensive and swedish-speaking upper secondary schools will start on Tuesday 14 August. Finnish-speaking upper secondary schools and vocational institutions will start on Monday 13 August.
