Finland’s biggest skateboard hall is in Kontula!

The activities centre includes Finland’s biggest indoor skating rink. With about 1,600 sq. metres at their disposal, skateboard enthusiasts can train and practise at their leisure.

A fee is charged for using the indoor skateboard rink. The fee each time is for a use period, i.e. when you buy a ticket from the vending machine, you can use the rink for the entire period. Under-18s pay one euro per period and over-18s 3.5 euro. In addition, to use the indoor skateboard rink you need a Youth Department membership card, which costs 5 euro and is valid until the end of the year in which it is issued.

The entrance to the indoor skateboard rink is in Emännänpolku, beside the metro station.
The large piece of spatial art on a skateboarding theme that adorns the entrance makes it easy to find.
