Helsinki continues to reduce the city’s nutrient loading on the Baltic Sea from its wastewater treatment plants, which recorded significant improvements in 2011. The Social Services and Health Care will be reorganized
The City Council has decided to merge the Social Services Department and the Health Centre. A separate department will be set up for Finnish children’s daycare. The reorganization will be done at the beginning of 2013.
